The Wren Project shortlisted for three Charity Times Awards 2026

We are proud to announce that The Wren Project has been shortlisted in three categories at the Charity Times Awards 2026, one of the UK’s leading celebrations of excellence in the charity sector.

Our nominations are:

  • Charity of the Year

  • Best Fundraising Team

  • Rising LeaderKate Middleton, CEO

These nominations are a wonderful recognition of the passion, dedication and compassion shown every day by our team, volunteers, trustees and supporters. Together, we are working towards a future where no one has to face autoimmune disease alone.

Over the past year, we’ve continued to grow our reach and impact, providing free emotional support to more people living with autoimmune disease across the UK, while raising awareness of the often unseen mental and emotional challenges that can come with these lifelong conditions.

We are delighted that our CEO, Kate Middleton, has been recognised in the Rising Leader category. Kate’s vision, determination and unwavering belief that everyone living with autoimmune disease deserves to feel heard and supported have helped shape the charity into what it is today.

Kate Middleton, CEO of The Wren Project, said:

“To be shortlisted in three categories is an incredible honour. This recognition belongs to every member of our team, our volunteers, our supporters and the wonderful community we exist to support. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about what’s still to come as we continue working to ensure that nobody faces autoimmune disease alone.”

We are honoured to be recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations making a difference across the UK and look forward to celebrating with our fellow finalists at the Charity Times Awards later this year.

Thank you to everyone who has supported The Wren Project. Your encouragement, generosity and belief in our mission make achievements like this possible.
